Why Choose Relational Therapy?

How relational therapy can help

Improve Your Relationship With Yourself

Whether you have low self-esteem, or you tend to not like yourself for whatever reason, you're with yourself 24/7 until the day you die. If you ask me, your relationship with yourself is probably the most important one you'll have. With me, you'll explore, become more aware of your own patterns in how you relate to yourself, and make better choices to become the person you want to be.

Strengthen Your Relationships with Others

Healthy relationships can be difficult to establish and maintain. Through therapy, we can work on enhancing your communication and interpersonal skills, become aware of your relational patterns,  and addressing underlying issues in why it's so hard for you to connect with others and maintain healthy relationships.

Move Through Your Relationships With Deceased Loved Ones

You're coping with your grief of a loved one, but you're not sure how to move through them and find clarity, especially when you had a complicated relationship with your deceased loved ones. With me, you'll collaborate on strategies to find clarity, process your feelings, and find closure.

Embrace Your Relationship to Uncertainty

No one knows what the future holds, and feeling uncertain can be unsettling. While we can't predict the future, we can process and manage your feelings of worry and anxiety about your future and uncertainty. After all, uncertainty is, fortunately and unfortunately, a part of life.

Heal Your Relationship with the Past

Trauma, too, is unfortunately a part of life. But your past doesn't have to control and haunt your present and future. You don't have to cope through it all alone, at least not anymore. Trauma heals through relationship and connection. Our relationship in therapy will be the catalyst to your healing journey and process.

Family, Friendship, & Relationship Issues

We run into relationship issues not only with our romantic partners. Here, you'll have a space to work through your relationship with your mom, dad, brother, sister, or friend.

Grief

Whether you are grieving a loved one, a relationship, or a deceased person who harmed you, you're in the right place. There may no longer be a way to get the closure you need, and you want to process the loss. We'll sit in your grief together, however way it shows up.

Adult Children of Immigrant Parents (ACIP) / BIPOC

If you're a 1st or 2nd generation American, you have unique challenges that others might not be able to understand. Here, your unique, complex multicultural experience will be understood. You will be seen from one ACIP to another.

Teens

Adolescence can be such a confusing, stressful, yet exciting time. "Who am I? Who do I want to become?" are some vital questions that teens tend to ask themselves. As teens navigate so many changes in their lives as they transition to adulthood, they need extra support.

Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt therapy is an experiential approach that focuses on the process of what happens in the therapy room between the therapist and client. We explore together as two humans beings on what's happening in the present moment to cultivate self-awareness, which leads to choice, then change.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful therapy that helps you process trauma, beliefs about yourself and the world, stories, events, memories, you name it. Especially when you're feeling stuck, brainspotting can help your brain to think more flexibly (neuroplasticity).
